i'm sorry for asking such a dumb question i'm a little tried at the moment.

for awhile,since installing cablenut i've had problems with Opera{the latest one} Hanging and Not Responding,then goes back to working

i have another program called Sentry 2.0 and that program hangs and doesn't work at all now.

i've tried uninstalling cablenut and going back to the stock windows XP net settings and the same problem.

is there a way for me to fix these two programs from hanging without having to format and re-install my OS system?

what's weird is i get those boxes,meanwhile the torrents say green start to finish.

i keep getting this error whenever i start up Azureus:

i have the ports opened using windows Firewall {6881}configured my Network Everywhere NR041 router hooked up using the site www.portforward.com

i know,i should get a better firewall program but i had Sygate,had problems with it disappearing after start-up but didn't get this error.

and had Outpost,nothing but headaches with that too.

i have bitdenfender and tried using that firewall extension with the same problem.

anyone got a clue on what else i can do to get rid of this problem?

I had that happen to me once. I forget how it happened. A good way to prevent losing your bookmarks is to back them up. In Firefox:

Bookmarks>>Manage Bookmarks>>Export.

It will save it as an HTML bookmart file that can be easily be read and imported into another browser. Not that you'd want to leave FF.

mine did the same thing.i unplug the cable and get a few hours or weeks out of it,then it would disconnects.

a call to the cable company to check the line strength coming in from outside and in your room.i had the same problem,every few weeks my Motorola SB4200 would cut out.i bought new lines,new splitter and a new router and still the same problem.

my line in my room from the cable outlet would go from 10 strength and by the time it got to the modem{which is on the other side of the room} it was -1.the guy put new heavy duty cable and some weird compression fitting type cable ends.

so far,i haven't had the cable modem cut out for awhile now.

i caught my old Enlight 300watt PSU when it was shutting off due to all the stuff i had plugged into it.{2 cd-rom drives,2 hard drives,4 fans and a 9500 Pro Card}

you should look into getting a Vantec ION 2 PSU.i wish i did,but i bought a ION 400

i used to have "teh hissing" with my altec lansing headphones.i used some eletric contact cleaner and sprayed a little right in the volume control.it went away.

i've tried this and i didn't notice much of a differance.i like firefox,but once in awhile my bookmarks will get deleted.meanwhile,i've done a fresh re-install with the newest version 1.07
