do you have any other suggestions for tweaking the connection...... right now : default send window: 65536 global max tcp windows size: 128480 tcp receive/send segment size: 1460 windows size: 128480 i dont think i've tweaked at all yet....since i had that little problem with cox, i think i've reset my tweaks.....ill follow your guide right now again...and see what happens

well....its just like a multiplayer client.....they used to use WON for their servers, but i guess they figured out how to make money off of it, thus switching to a (sometimes Pay -per-play) steam engine.....its harderd to run multiple cd keys on network (almost impossible) and things like that.....they can ban ur cd key, thus resulting in you buying another one LOL i guess it only benefits them

with the half life series its possible.....but one has to be running a non steam client kinda tricky though.......... we're taking over this thread heheheh LOL

and yes....actually ive ran 2 counter strike games at the same time (for the hell of it lol) - one running steam, other one running a non steam client (but still connected to steam)

including a dedicated server.....i run a counter strike dedicated server and play on the same computer
