I know of IIS and I'm a MCDBA but not big on query languages....would I need to build the database over and enter the formulas again in a sql database?,or just import the formulas from excel to sql ,but then how would it go from the webpage (where the customer enters dat) to the database to be calculated the the result returned to the webpage............can IIS do this,I would prefer this method Thank you!

PHP or Javascript code?,and add it to the exel database already built with the formulai to do the calculations or a cutom database for the calculations?

thanks,but what kind of forms should I use ,I only know of coffecup form builder,but it doesnt do calculations,is it a software type program,or would I have to write it using some code? thank you

Thank you,but how will the info be entered automatically in the Excel formula after the info is entered in the html form and then back to the website for viewing by the customers,and also ,how many people can have use of the excel spreadsheet to calculate their cost?

Wuz up, I havent got a clue on where to even start so I'm seeking any advise ............my comapany has the need to perfom calculations and provide it's customers with the cost of their PV Solar system(equipment used to provide electricity by solar energy) based on the customers KiloWat usage,we have a excel spereadsheet that work out everything,but I'd like to know how would the info entered(KW usage) by the customers enter the excel spreadsheet to be calculated ,then the results return back to the Website to be viewed by customers ..................Is there a software that can accomplish this or is some form of programming involved ....................Thank You !!!!!

But I guess overall ,y question wasnt answered ...My friend is planning to migrate to the states ,but needs a H1 visa(which will enable him to work over there) There is this Company that makes this process easy but he would need a degree or equivalent.....he can pay to have it evaluated but he'd rather be confident that he wont waste his money so he would like a free opinion FIRST.. I'm sorry ...he does have 5 CXC'S and and he's doing a Associate Degree in Computer and Management...plus the Certs..lolz

YAH!!!....It was the registry route that did it ..........even though I did a search for all HP related files and deleted them ....the registry had some folders and files .........when deleted those it worked PERFECTLY Thanks TECH!!

Sorry I didnt see your question Tech.........I gonna try that though, even though I search for all files with the HP letters in there........and then deleted everything showing a printer relation......but I will try the registry way

Wuz up, Everything is O.K with my printer when I try installing it on another PC or server .....but when I try installing on the print server it was on originally ,instead of recognizing a new device so I can reinstall it, it just keeps printing the last thing it printed a week ago ...the printer is a hp 3500 ....I deleted all hp 3500 files, uninstalling the software and including restarting the spooler .....but it;s still there (as I plug in the printer in the USB port it just starts printing a week ago's work) What can I do to solve this? Thank you!

And I guess if anything went wrong with the dba it would call for other sql knowledge and not T-Sql

Yea I kinda know that.....but I was wondering do I have to know it indepth ...worse like how there is books online built in sql.....so I guess thats why I wanted an answer from a real dba who could say yes or no based on experience .........thanks

........OK....but automation is there to make life easier in whatever aspect of computing ur doing................are u a DBA ?

Wuz up, My company wants me to have MCDBA .........but the hardest part to me is Transact Sql Language .......Is there any MCDBA's here who can say if you would need to know this language indepth to function in the real world as a Database Admin,,,because sql 2000 has basically everything as a template or wizard Thank you
