  7. I already have ccleaner and have used it (and use it frequently). I just downloaded the uninstaller and am about to run it
  8. I downloaded Google Web Accelerator and eventually within a few days noticed that my system was/seemed slower and slower (even after I cleaned everything....cookies, prefetch, etc.) I uninstalled GWA but it still shows in my firefox extensions as being there but nowhere else (as far as I can tell). My internet speed sometimes goes to a crawl and eventually (this part has happened everyday since) when I open up more than 4 windows, the fourth window hangs and leaves a blank page that I can't close. I then have to use the Task Manager to close Firefox. I don't know what to do....help, please.
  9. How do I increase the "....unscaled receive window" ? By the way, I thank you in advance....for everything.... You may want to take a look at my post about cleaning your computer. I created a batch file that works wonders for me and if you need any help with it, let me know....

  12. Thanks. I appreciate that. I may be overdoing it with spyware paranoia so I actually clean my computer daily with Spybot, Adaware, MS Antispyware, and I also have 2 anti virus programs AVG and Norton Corporate edition.
  13. I ran the following test....from 1) JLab Web100 based Network Diagnostic Tester (NDT) *Which states that ...This connection is receiver limited 85.61% of the time.
  14. ...may sound like a stupid question, but how does it do more harm than good? Is it harming my system in any way?
  15. I actually used Google Web Accelerator. But it is caching stuff...
  16. ...I apologize to all for my aggresive reply posts. I am having a rough week. I re-cleaned the cache properly and the results were significantly lower. Regardless, I think when we reply to any post, have a bit more consideration, be more polite, and act like you are speaking to someone with respect until they disrespect you. Even then....
  17. Dumb*** number 1 meet Dumber*** number 2. Oh, I mean AMC11890 meet MttFrog13. Why do you 2 even reply to posts when you have nothing positive to write about. There is a way to state what you feel without aggression. I am out of here and don't need this infantile, degrading commentary from the comic factory. ...and forgive me AMC11890 if you were not trying to be a wise*** but re-read your post because it may have come out that way (...and I took it that way). Van Buren is a class act but you other guys have need some class. Good Night and be blessed.

  22. FBI tips and public leads? I don't get it. I just don't want my IP address public because from what I have read, hackers can use your IP address to access data of yours....
  23. Try to run the batch file with the programs because if you have Mozilla Firefox as your browser, it does actually store its files in the actual browser. The programs clean that up too...
