  1. I've read in Lockergnome that theres some kind of bug in IE6 where the browser will slow down and start eating up 100% of the CPU cycles. This could be caused by a corrupt cache - and cannot be cleared through the Internet Options dialog.

I have been experiencing those problems lately and am wondering if anyone knows hows to manually delete the cache?

  2. I just d/l Tune_UP 2006 and its very clean and seems great.

I haven't used Diskeeper for along time now 3-4 years at least I didn't care for it very much then always thought it did more harm than good maybe they have got all the minor+major bugs out of it by now.

  3. Just went out and checked it, The box and wires are all brand new and securely fit. One strange thing is that there are only two wires in place Red and Green the Yellow and Black are just dangling there doesn't appare to have even been hooked in. I checked to see if I could install them but couldn't tell where they might have belonged because everything is color coded Red and Green

  4. I couldn't get http://www.dslreports.com/coinfo to work right my guess is that I'm a few miles away though. I'm out in B.F.E and I have 3 Schools across the street from me which could be sucking up all the bandwith. The phone lines in my house are all new less than a year old.

My connection status never changes from 31.2kbps I have a GTW V.92 voice modem so I use NetZero's local dial-up number that supports V.92 I have tried others and they all lower my connection speed to 28 and lower

I tried your last two tweaks with no effect. Are their any other alternative possibilities I can try? I've had DSL before and moved had to go back to dial-up that really hurts like going from Riches to Rags.

Who is Level3.net and why do they sometimes come up as my host? Also have you heard of Artera Turbo?

  5. Well I've tried pretty much all of ROM_DOS tweaks under Performance Tuning and I still don't see any improvement as far as my connection

    Using WinXP SP2

Provider is NetZero not sure what the advertised speed for download/upload is.

I have TCP Opt. and Cablenut installed

Also I've ran the test a few other times it normally says my host is Level3.net shouldnt it be NetZero?
