I want to buy the best laptop that's out there, so far what I found out was this... The Dell XPS M170 http://www1.us.dell.com/content/products/productdetails.aspx/xpsnb_m170?c=us&cs=19&l=en&s=dhs&~ck=mn&~tab=specstab#tabtop What do you guys think? Is that the best, fastest, cleanest looking Notebook on the market nowadays or should I be looking into Sony or Toshiba or Gateway??? If you guys find something better please tell me. I want something with Media Center, Pentium M proccessor or faster, fast burning drive for dvd/cd (8x or more), also lots of memory to put tons of music and movies on it, and 2 GB of ram. Please help me out guys, I need to buy one before this week. MONEY IS NOT AN ISSUE!!! Thanks for all the help!

ok so you want to bridge host in halo 2? sure i can help you out. First you're gonna have to buy a crossover ethernet cable... It took me 8 hours to figure it out but ill try to sum it up. What you do is try to share your wireless connection to your mac bridge. It the advance area of the propeties in the wireless it should say allow sharing, check the box. after that put the lan connection (ethernet port) from the xbox 360 to the computer under the bridge area and leave the wireless connection to shared and leave it under LAN or High Speed Internet. Also, if you have wireless networks under property tags, then uncheck it. Because if you check it it will lag you out of live. If this doesnt work then you need to find a way to say shared, to where, Mac Bridge, under your advanced properties of the wireless connection.

^^ so what your trying to say is that you want to bridge your connections through your wireless computer and then connect your 360 to the computer?

no, i walked down to the C.O. before, its a bellsouth Cental office. Its very close. i did check it on dslreports so i would call bellsouth later and ask them.

Sucks for you guys, cuz i dont have no problems with my 360 and i leave it up for 12 hours each day.

^^^ not true abot dsl. I live less than 4500 feet away from my C.O. If i want i can walk 5 minutes and get there. So i thought that was good, then i bought a 1.5/768 deal with Cyberonic, I was getting under a meg everytime and my upload was always 600Kbps or under. I would love to get speakeasy but they just dont offer me anything besides T1's and Sdsl. I would get Bellsouth but their highes package is 3/384 and they plan on doing 6/512 soon, but thats still not enough when Comcast has 8/768 and upgrading to 10/1 sometime in Janurary.

my connection keeps on turning on and then turning off when using wireless. wireless sucks.

disabling the encryption is the only thing that works.

I want to build my first computer. Im not gonna install it but i want some help to find out what are the neccessary products I need to buy in order for a computer to function. Can you guys help me with a list so I know what to buy?
