  5. I stay away from new browswers. I find my virus scan doesnt work as well with others. ( I have mcafee). and havent had any troubles with ie. So ill wait and see what i.e7 has to offer. Oh and by da way you know where Bill Gates got ie from? It was bundled with about 50 other programs on a floppy disk, you know little programs that they couldn't sell. ie was there just nobody knew what to do with it but Gates did. And as they say the rest is history. Once he bought the rights to ie.

  6. Don't know how that works, or how many people you'd have to have to see a diff. in speed. We have a population of bout 49,000, and the whole city's wired for cable. Not sure how many are using cable thou, but it would make the most sense since I have cable in the house. Theys just have to run a cable to my computer room. Thanks for da info. ;)

  7. Right now we have wireless(which i have at 1.024 advertised), cable from cable one (3Mbps down), and dsl thru sbc/yahoo (at 1.5Mbps). Now i don't like cable because you have to share bandwith, i like my wireless, its very reliable and service is very good. Now if sbc goes to 3Mbps or more i may switch to there.  ;)

  8. Well i can agree with that ,but you'd have to have a place for not only those who give the final advice that works, but also for those who helped along the way, and i think that would be an arbitray thing. I'm not saying it can't work, but have to figure a way to include all.
