its fixed wireless broadband. i have acces to cable thru cable company, but just never went to em. they offer 3 Mbps for 49.95. right now i pay 40 for 1.5, i just reuped with fast freedom for another 2 years, soooooooooo im sure as market gets more competive and more providers come here ill get more for same price or less, but till then this will do fine. i dont download much, pretty much surfing playing games ect. i never grew up lol . but thanks for welcoming me and responding to my inquires in a fast and timly matter.

Ok question, I connect thru pppoe, will this rasppoe interfear with that? Will they conflict, having 2 on 1 computer and isn't setting rwin at 192,000 a little high?

Me thinks so. Just e-mailed my isp to see if there was any plans to get more speed. I can go to cable and get 3Mbps, for 49.95, but i'm quite pleased with my service and with cable there comes a point when you have to share bandwidth.
