I can go to cable and get 3Mbps, for 49.95, but i'm quite pleased with my service and with cable there comes a point when you have to share bandwidth.     its fixed wireless broadband. i have acces to cable thru cable company, but just never went to em. they offer 3 Mbps for 49.95. right now i pay 40 for 1.5, i just reuped with fast freedom for another 2 years, soooooooooo im sure as market gets more competive and more providers come here ill get more for same price or less, but till then this will do fine. i dont download much, pretty much surfing playing games ect. i never grew up lol :). but thanks for welcoming me and responding to my inquires in a fast and timly matter. :o

  7. ok this is my 1st time posting hope this is the right place, i have windows xp home edition, sp 2, 2.4 mgh processor, gig of ram, 40 gb hard drive. my isp is fast freedom. advertised speed, 1.024 down with max burst rate 1.5.dont know about upload speed.fixed wireless broadband.
