resol do you know why when I do a ping or a tracert to different address as I go to the bigger hops say after I passed the miami and adelphia hops the pings get to 200-300-even 500 but the rest of the hops stay in 35-60ms ??

Yes your signals looks very good, downstream levels optimal is 0dbmV but with temperature changes and fluctuations it varies so ur near 0 and that is ok, 46dbmV in upstream is almost perfect since you are trying to get to 48dbmV

I see hop 2,3,4 as onelinkpr hops then it jumps to adelphia 5,6,7,8 .... that means they still have 4 hops with Adelphia and all of them are lagging horribly. Once they remove those adelphia hops and put some onelink and another backbone things should be better.

I know a lot of people benefit from p2p because I am one. I wouldn't be so pissed right now if I coudl actually browse webpages, send email without a hassle but guys, you can't even watch pages what the hell? I think after the adelphia to onelink transfer , it started running smoothly but some dumb fuck decided to start blocking p2p and control access, which limits our bandwidth and basically screws everything, not to mention THEIR PROBLEM WITH THE UDP PROTOCOL!!! I hope they fix this shit soon or else they gonna be hearing complaints from me the whole year.

So far the connection has been pretty stable, my signal levels in the cable modem are very bad but I have to call a teach to correct the problem, so far so good. I talked about the p2p to the tech and they told me they are implenting it as a band aid fix till they fix their routing problem speciall with miami, lets hope is the truth.

Well if they fix and get their shit together people will stay with it, they just got to improve the quality of routing etc as per what parabot said. As I said earlier... they are trying a band-aid fix removing p2p and stuff like that instread of improving the distribution of bandwidth across the clients.
