    how to update my audio n video cards

    hi folks

              in this forum it s given that keep ur audio n video cards updated iven t realisd it until yesterday

              when i opened a movie it wasnt opened saying that update of audio n video cards is reqd!!!!!!!!1

                i m using realtec ac'97 audio driver n i want to know is there any online tresource material for updating these cards?????????

    hello friends

                      yesterday morning(early) i browsd n everything went off nice it seemed to me but at about 10am when i returned home n was just switching on the comp i saw an ANT moving over my mouse(logitech optical mouse) slider button

                      i just wiped it off n was surprised to c so much ants (about a dozen in no inside the mouse itself) i just want to know their roots n so went to the back of my comp a very big shock in my whole life awaited me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

                        the terminal(of my modem) to which the tel line is connected was just full of ants trying to get inside the modem!!!!!!!!!!

                          i just unplugged everything took it out n  saw already my modem(Smart AX 841-Sterlite) is full of ants flowing in n out a the greatest horror in recent times !!!!!!!!!!!

                          i just pulled out my vacuum cleaner n used it to absorb all these dangerous (their bites r painfull) creatures n in a minute all the ants were inside the cleaner

                              then i cald up my ISP engineer who told there is nothing to worry if i get connected to the net n i got connected after plugging in all the devices

                              my question is what attraction does these ants 've inside my modem that too  a new one (i got it only some weeks b4)?????????   

                                  and wat and all should i do to clean it????????

    hi

            i want to know the difference between static Ip n a dynamic IP

            i ve  a the former  one n while trying to cheat downloading/uploading sites(eg., rapidshare, megaupload) thro softwares, i was told dat i cannot do so coz i ve a static IP!!!!!

              thats it wat makes the difference between the two??????????????

    hi friends

                i use WINDOWS AND INTERNET CLEANER PRO for cleaning debris in my pc n all the debris left after browsing the net!!!!

                  i ve applied the tweaks presented in this forumday b4 yesterday n yesterday i saw a movie n then ran my windows n internet cleaner pro

                  oh god yup!!!!!!!! it took a very long time for ERASING  windows temporary files directory n finally memory size  greater than the movie memory size has been recovered by it as it told to me

                    it had never hapnd to me after installation of this software!!!!!!!!!

                    i want to know is there any prob with my system i.e., registry r someother part of the windows??????????

    is microsoft office needed at windows startup???????????

    hi friends

                  i found acrobat reader 7  n microsoft office application being started while my pc boots up!!!

                    so as a measure of improvement i removed bothof them from the list n absolutely there is no prob now

                      is it essential that they should b startd while booting of windows?? i m using xp os

                    if i want to take the backup of the entire registry can i do the one shown

    start->run->regedit->enter->rightclick my computer->select export->save it with a file name

                can i do the above for taking entire registry backup??????

    HI FRIENDS

            recently i ve formatted my pc n b4 that i tweakd my pc with the tweaks presented here hats off to all those who contributed those in  this forum coz it improvd my nsystem s performance unbeleivable

            after formatting with my new xp os i wish to tweak it but my pc service man strongly recommende me not totweak my registry!!!!!!!!!!!11

              i was a bit taken aback but now i decided to tweak it so i want to know how to take a backup of the registry ?  since those forum contributors strongly recommend to take a backup of registry?????

              simply put how to take a backup of the registry???????????????

            i ll check telephone line already it will go into problems when it s heavily raining so i used a PVC tape to wrap around hte broken line may thats the prob i hope

            i ll look into it &revert back to u once when its checked

            sorry for not replying u yesterday night man!

            today morning i tested like u said i changed that setting to 10Mpbs/halfduplex then 10Mpbs/full duplex but nothing changed really  the same result awaited me with the nitro site but the speeds r nearly above rated i.e., they were 315kpbs(1st time) 285kpbs(2nd time) with testmy.net Even i made my mind to replace my modem with ISP as u said

            now (10:06pm)i checked it again man i m really taken aback with the result which r as follows
