  1. hmm. Rebooted the mdoem for the new speeds. Dunno what the caps are now, but I was just downloading at 900 KB/sec. NDT test only shows 6mbit, but it screams for me to increase the rwin to 98kbytes. Damn... i just tweaked too :P

Not that i'm complaining. I'd rather have speed upgrades + retweak every day

Also, uploaded at 90 KB/sec to a bud just now.

  2. I am planning on making a website to list glitches in maps in unreal tournament. I registered the domain utglitches.net. Someone said epic might sue me... dunno if they were joking or not.

As long as i state i'm not in anyway affiliated with epic and that all trademarks are theirs, would they sue me?

  3. yeah i did that. What BDP/send wins should i use? I'm pretty sure those retransmissions are all upload, tweaktest on dslreports says there are no retransmissions on thier download tweaker. Any like that that test uploading ?

  4. stats on NDT say:

    WEB100 Enabled Statistics:

    Checking for Middleboxes . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .  Done

    running 10s outbound test (client to server) . . . . . 405.06Kb/s

    ------  Web100 Detailed Analysis  ------

    10 Mbps Ethernet link found.

Link set to Full Duplex mode

Information: throughput is limited by other network traffic.

    Good network cable(s) found

    Normal duplex operation found.

Web100 reports the Round trip time = 80.92 msec; the Packet size = 1460 Bytes; and

There were 17 packets retransmitted, 299 duplicate acks received, and 137 SACK blocks received

The connection was idle 0 seconds (0%) of the time

This connection is network limited 99.9% of the time.

Information: Network Address Translation (NAT) box is modifying the Client's IP address

Server says [69.169.215.100] but Client says [192.168.0.100]

  5. I randomly tried 384000 for my upload...

    running 10s outbound test (client to server) . . . . . 678.38Kb/s

    running 10s inbound test (server to client) . . . . . . 4.38Mb/s

The slowest link in the end-to-end path is a 10 Mbps Ethernet subnet

Information: Other network traffic is congesting the link

    :D :D

  6. I am running the sp1 tweaks on sp1 at the moment.

    upanddown.PNG

It goes up and down during an NDT test. I get like 750 KB/sec on a download test here now that it is offpeak (it starts at 300 and then goes faster). See how the upload goes up and down? No matter what i put for the sendwin values, it still does it... any ideas?

Download is satisfying enough - weee.png

  7. Also, I noticed my download locks on on speedtests, but for exapmle, moves around a lot getting from microsoft.com. Prolly their servers, but i didnt know if ther ewould be a different tweak for it.

  8. Tweaked using the config file you said.

http://ttester.broadbandreports.com/tweak/block:50410b9?service=cable&speed=4000&os=winXP&via=normal <-- there is a tweak test. The download locks right on at 4.5-4.6mbits now instead of fluctuating. The upload goes up and down a lot more than it did. IE, 70 KB/sec, 60 KB/sec 30 KB/sec, etc.... Anyway to stabilize that?

    Reran it -- http://ttester.broadbandreports.com/tweak/block:255248a?service=cable&speed=4000&os=winXP&via=normal

  9. It isn't even final. Adelphia, I hope, stays together through this.

I have been bring up the adelphia average :P (I have premiere, why pay $57.95 for 3mb/256kb when for $59.95 we can get 4mb/512kb :P)

Your connection is: 4128 Kbps      (about 4.1 Mbps)

    You downloaded at: 504 KB/s

    Your TRuSPEED: ^info^ 4417 Kbps :: 539 KB/s (7% overhead factored)

Bottom Line: You are running: 74 times faster than 56K and can download 1 megabyte in 2.03 second(s)

    Diagnosis: Awesome! 20% + : 66.38 % faster than the average for host (adelphia.net)

our connection is:  431  Kbps      (about 0.4 Mbps)

    You uploaded at: 53 KB/s

    Your TRuSPEED: ^info^ 461 Kbps :: 57 KB/s (7% overhead factored)

Bottom Line: You are running: 8 times faster than 56K and can upload 1 megabyte in 19.32 second(s)

    Diagnosis: Awesome! 20% + : 46.6 % faster than the average for host (adelphia.net)

Upload is crappy, i usually average around 450ish.... Check my stats: https://testmy.net/30-BAF

Upload is crappy, but oh well. Its better than the 200 i got on the normal package :P

http://www.dslreports.com/speedtests/4150102;445964;e0dfaf7b97c976b538cee686fd71028d;2.0;nyc.speakeasy.net/1108822437 is about the lowest I get on those speed tests

    NDT gives me:

    running 10s outbound test (client to server) . . . . . 499.13Kb/s

    running 10s inbound test (server to client) . . . . . . 4.31Mb/s

The slowest link in the end-to-end path is a 10 Mbps Ethernet subnet

    [edit]

Also, Adelphia is doing speed upgrades. 34 areas are testing these. By the end of the month or so should be the final date for them :)
