  3. you should connect via ethernet to your router and set your NIC to 100Mbps full duplex if router still slowing you down, it might be a damaged cable between router/ computer i assume you using the same cable between modem/ computer and modem/router also update routerfirmware VanBuren

Go to VanBuren TestMy.net Cablenut settings and install Cablenut 4.08 and Vanburens cablenut settings version 7 when you installed Cablenut, just unzip the custom settings i made ( version 7) to a new folder anywhere on your hard drive browse to this path VanBurens_cablenut_settings_version_7_ALL_WIN_OS_AND_SATCABLE_DSL_FIBER_DIAL-UPWinXP_2K_CABLE_DSLMSS1460 now dubble click on Cable & DSL 4000 384.ccs now you see cablenut adjuster with alot of values, click "save to registry" and reboot your PC test speed again VanBuren

  12. you have very high ping to this server, i suggest you open cablenut, click delete cablenut tweaks and click save to registry now set DefaultSendWindow to 16384 TcpWindowSize to 20440 now click save to registry and reboot test speed again VanBuren

  15. looks like your maxing out, i assume your cap is 1.5 Mbps down try setting your DefaultReceiveWindow to 128000 for faster web browsing edit: or even lower, until speed goes down try 96256 aswell VanBuren
  16. check speed here aswell http://speedtest.cogeco.net/ if your still around 4 Mbps or less, then yes i think it might be your ZA slowing ya down VanBuren

  18. When i see ppl share like 100 GB of music i find it hard to belive they would have bought all that music if p2p wasnt possible. So its not really a lost customer to all those artists. I also belive if i like a artist alot i want to support them and get a retail cd for collection. I think the report has some points, that i dont think the music industry been thinking about. Also i think p2p help artists to get new fans. VanBuren
