  1. i don't see how smart bro and speed issue should raise brows amongst fellow tweaker's. in some point not all tweaks will be beneficial cuz we don't exactly run on the same machine specs, software and bundles that goes with along with it. some might actually work and some might not.

i have personally set up a sole machine that runs on a  20 step setup and it works fine, and at the same time with another that runs on my own personal customization.

tweaking should be fun in any case, coolbuster and jun101ph has contributed much already in my own personal view.

  2. hi, im new here. i feel lucky find this site.

first, i tried to do the canopy tweak, i open my canopy page. but theres no configuration button  on the navigations at the left part of the screen.

maybe im one of those unlucky persons that are prohibtted to edit the canopy settings.

um.. i just saw some of you talking about cablenut. well, according to your reviews. it does a lot. looks great, can you tell me how to make the cablenut ? the step by step tutorial pls. i dont want to mess-up my computer.i hope you guys help me. my last resort is cablenut.

guess theres no stopping when theres still means to juice up the speed. im just curious on what he said bout the canopy page without the configuration tab.  err maybe hes not logged on as admin.

  3. 400 kbps is like over the wall already for the default subscribed speed. you should be thankful for that, but it doesn't mean that 600 club isn't attainable. factors like too many users on your AP, weather condition, bad canopy placement, site problems of smart, bad pc tweaks, etc will always affect the speed you want. dont be discouraged when things gets weird with your speed. smart has earned that reputation surprising people.

  4. you might try and see this css if it works on your line well. back up your old css in case you feel it doesn't improve. these are just minor improvements, moreover we can't do much if its your AP site that wont give much more bandwidth. attached are files that some used for starters and my own current css. tweaking should be fun!

  5. try a different css (cablenut setting). welcome to the 400 club.  :cheesy: try not to load excess apps on start up if you feel your resources gets low that makes it slow. rule of thumb would be to let those important apps only and the others you can run it manually if needed. priority apps would be your anti virus and firewall for a sample.
