Well then it's my ISP, because it's not me. I can go to dslreports and get an accurate test from them everytime, so my ISP must have shit things going on. I can't even run a tracert anywhere right now for some reason.

Believe me, I am not complaining about my connection. I got upgraded from 1.3mb/s to 4.2 for free. I am just saying, this server is in TX< and I am in PA, so that's why it's not 100% accurate. I never get anything below 500KB/s, so I am just looking for a speed test that will give me close to those results nearly everytime I try it.

I just wish I was a little closer to texas or somethng so my results would be higher.

Nah, I don't have a problem. It only does this when I take tests, when I download something it starts at 200KB/s, and then shoots up to over 500 in a second. I'll check the link you gave me as well.

Though it's not here unfortunately. Took the upload out because I don't want you laughing at it, it is worse than any of you will guess because I am on one way cable. (High download, shit upload.)

Problem with mine is, it just takes awhile longer to get idled up all the way. Since it only gives me a 1013kb file, I can't get it up to full speed by then. Just thought I would say that, not usre if you knew it or not. That's why with that 11mb test link that someone made I showed you, I got much higher results. Also, are you planning on making outside tests have the same result layout as yours?

Nope, I'm in PA. RCN is cable. I got upgraded from 1.5mb/s to these speed for free. I actually should be getting 3mb/s, but I get way over that.

I think it's because my download takes a few more seconds to get up to the max, but I would have downloaded that at about 500KB/s as well. Maybe I will make my own test with a 5mb file or something and show you, but I have a paper to write right now. I have a P4 2.3GHZ with 512DDRam, using the latest IE.

Well, these are really bad, but for some reason thats about as high as it goes right now. Just a tip, maybe like 2-3MB or something.
