I know there are other things to tweak. So if you test, you always beat your older score? I didn't know that, you only posted one test. RWIN is still the biggest factor though. What is yours set at?

What exactly are you "tweaking" all the time? You do know that sooner or later, you will hit a point when nothing will get any better. If you only beat it by like 50kb/s after you "tweak", its coincidence. It only took me about 2 days to find the RWIN that works for me. Sometimes I still beat records, but it's coincidence.

Yeah, they upgrade everyone eventually. They just haven't gotten around to me yet. I really don't see it as a problem either, since I never upload anything. I just get sick of people telling me there's something I can do about it, and trying to make it faster. I would much rather have a great download, which I do, then a mediocre download and high upload. Sooner or later I will have both though.

Oh boy... This is one way cable. I have no one near me that has cable. Nothing is affecting my upload but the fact that I am on one way, which gives you dial up for the upload. Nothing I can do to "dump crappy upload", it's up to my ISP to upgrade me and bring two way to my area. Thanks man, same to you and everyone else here.

I didn't say it wasn't. In fact, I know it is. What I said is that I get 4.4mb/s out of 5mb/s down, and having a higher upload would make my max 5mb/s, which isn't THAT much faster. RCN doesn't let you go much above the caps, if at all.

One way cable, and I wouldn't be THAT much faster. My ISP offers 5mb/s down, and that's only 600kb/s off of what I get right now.

I'm about to. I don't upload anything anyway, nor do I want to, and my download makes up for it.

Surely you upload better than a 33.6K modem right? Because that's what I have for an upload. One way acable sucks for upload, but I never upload anything so I don't really care. I just get sick of everyone saying "Oh my god, there must be something wrong". There isn't, thats one way cable.

I know, I'm not questioning how good the site is, I am just saying. I am also just saying I hate my upload. God it sucks.

Just got another 4400 speed test there. If you guys want, I will give you the links. Just don't make fun of my upload. If I ever get upgraded by my ISP to two way cable internet, my upload will be 800kb/s.
