Go with direcway, but if at all possible, DONT get a DW6000 (unless you have a mac )  It is better to get a used 4000 than a new 6000.

my 4700 was almost silent until i added a front case fan to keep my hdds cool.  i should put a new fan in there sometime, this one came out of a unix server i took apart a couple years ago, its a little loud, but lowered my hdd temps 40 degrees (they needed it)

came loaded with it.  its nice xp pro with major media capability integration   only problem is there is still a few minor bugs in online radio

try this:

open the start menu, click on run.  Type in cmd, and press enter.  Type ping -f -l 1500 and make the number as big as possible without it saying Packet needs to be fragmented but DF set.

open DrTCP and enter that number as your mtu, save, reboot your computer, and try the download test again
