Maybe i could just go with two sticks of 512 run them dual and leave the third slot empty, would that work I don't think there is going to be a heatsink cause everything is going to be liquid cooled, but i could be wrong

Special Features: Specially Engineered and Optimized for the AMD Athlon64 FX platform
Since this memory was engineered for the FX, do you think it will hane any clashes with the 3400+

Thanks
Somehow my RWIN got changed to 99,280 which is a touch hi for me. Still don't know how this happened. So I changed it back to 64,240 and away she went. OH I also tweeked my windows real good before I did those tests. And that seemed to add some more speed.

Can you put some links in so we all can imagine what this PiMPuter would look like I don't know what you do or what your going to do for a living, but I know what you should do You sure you got that $$ right DAMN

AHHHH lol
That's funny you posted that, because I was reading up on the Athlon 64 3400+ last night and was going to ask you about it today Yeah it beat the intel 3.2 extreme in every game test, some of them it really kicked the intels ass And it looks like it responds alot better to OCing than the FX-51. Because I know I'm going to want to play around with that in the future
This is going to sound funny but how can I tell if the memory I'm looking at is Dual Channel or single
Mort
Can't wait to see what you come up with for a PiMPuter

What are you capped at Try a couple of these tests to see what your packet loss is http://www.broadbandreports.com/tweaks
If your getting packet loss take your RWIN down until your getting almost no packet loss ( I say this because I have found it impossible to get 0 packet loss consistently) Also what is your os because i found tweeking my os so it used less memory sped things up a bit.If the above doesn't work we can try tweeking your windows OH one more thing I have nothing running in the background except explorer and systray when i test
