I think its a great deal for the price too. Its just fast enough to satisfy pretty much anything.

Plus its my only good choice of price between dialup ($20 a month) and cable($50 a month with same speeds)

  2. Well i've been buying pcs from costco acouple years now and im not satisfied from them so i got this idea.

Next time i need a pc, i would like it to be custom made instead of bought from costco since it can be better and less expensive.

The only bad part is that im new to building pcs and need some help. We'll more like putting the right parts in so it works, but i know what to do when the computer has all it needs to run.

So i've come here to ask any computer builder techies on what parts are best for a reasonable price of 1000-1500 $ range to make a gaming pc.

I've found nice prices at www.pricewatch.com but i will need help on choosing the right parts for the right price.

    So can anyone help me?

Here is what im looking toward to:

    A rather cheap pcu (2.5ghz?)

Nvidia geforce 6600 gt 126 meg

    1 gig ram

    120 gig hd

Good motherboard that supports pcix, agp 8x??

    A midend sound card

    dvd reader

Power supply to handle all the parts with ease :D

Suggestions? Thanks! Really need the help..

  3. Well I was just wondering because I have a private server so that people can play with out paying.. If any one wants to play Ill give you the info/link to download it.

Can i have link? Or pm me the link?

  4. Well i've had the joystick awhile now and was alittle lazy to ask help, but here i am now.

I have a logitech extreme 3d pro joystick and im just using the windows drivers. Even with the logitech drivers it still has the problem.

(I use my joystick for flying planes in one game, but i will use mouse n keyboard for helicopters)

Anyways, say the joystick is working flawlessly and its all going well. But sometimes it just "re-calibrates" itself and it will automatically veer to the right. Its unlivable with that. It ruins my game and i have to log off>unplug>get back on and start playing my game again.

    Any ideas?

  6. First of all, i got a program called cpu-z to get model and brand of my mobo. http://www.cpuid.com/cpuz.php.

Im unshure how to do this process, therefore im here to ask some help. I got my pc 1-2 months ago, and i want to update mobo drivers. If they are as new as possible, I'll learn the process for later usage.

First of all will it affect anything computer wise (erase data, etc....)?

    Here is my mobo.

    Model: ASUSTeK Computer INC.

    Model: PTGD2-VX

    Chipset: Intel

Hope that is enough information. Here i have a screenshot of it.

  8. heavy haze can disrupt the signal in occasions but just some haze can slow down the signal. Can't really explain it. Its common sence.

If you throw a rock in the air it will travel faster and longer. but if you throw it in water, its speed and trajectory will be deviated and slowed down horribly.

  9. Oh i used to have one of those compressors for my earthlink dialup (for free since i payed) but they i switched over to sbc yahoo dsl.

Id like know where i can get one of those programs for free that has no requirements......any links?
