I do use Spybot and have scanned. I also use SuperAntispyware Free.

I am using Windows Firewall only.

Using Stopwatch, cnn took me 4.87 seconds. nba.com took me 3.432 seconds realgm.com took me 1.655 seconds. Before though, these sites would pop up automatically in what felt like less than 1/10 of a second. Stopwatch is located at http://www.numion.com/StopWatch/

It doesn't matter. Funny thing about it is that it didn't used to always happen. I frequent Realgm.com and NBA.com and they used to popup immediately, but now it's like when I go to those sites my system seems to wait for a full second as if it is opening something then I start receiving data.

When you say a different browser, I hate using IE7 but I do have it on my system. Here is a speed test using IE7... :::..
