a friend of mine had a problem just like this on comcast, and they put a tap splitter on his line and that fixed all his problems.
He lived in a apartment biulding also and his line was split about 7 times, between each of the apartments and the tap fixed it all.
they keep putting all these cores on a processor, but no one codes there programs for multi core. I want some games that will take advantage of more cores.
yes spyware can have entries in a saved registry. deleting them can help because if the registry crashes, and windows restories it, then your system will be infected with spyware again.
this is a tap http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=5857221891&category=61395
it spilts the signal with most of the db's going to one end and only part of the dbs going to the othere end. it makes the primary end feel like it has not been split. but you only get about about 40% of the signal on the othere end.
keep in mind that most schools, block all traffic over every port inbound and outbound, the only way to get on is if you go over that proxy server. so there is a 99.9% chance its not going to work. they do that so you can't do something like this.
wyantm06 it also depends on how many times that cable line is splt before you split it again. When i had cable internet, i put in a TAP insted of a regular splitter.
the montherboard is what causes instabiliity most of the time, if you buy a high quality motherboard then your going to be ably to overclock it more. i have this mb http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16813136151 and it allows for more control over the overclocking settings.
if you do it correct it is fine, ive seen people put 2v in a processor, it all depends on the about of apms, to many amps will kill anything. if you can regulate the amps, then your fine.
ok been running prime95 for about 6hrs now, and not 1 error, though i did get some crashes in BF2, i put the cpu to 1.71v and rased the PCEI and Ide voltage 4% and seems to be very stable.
