  1. got about 800kb/s here, and 3mb/s from my server in dallas, wasent really big enough to get a good result.
  2. For what ever reason my site keeps getting these little bits of downtime every so often, its only for about 10min then the site works fine again. I have no idea what is causing it, my host has no clue either why it is happening. Its a total loss of all activity to, when it happens i have to go over the private network to get into the box. Ive tried many thing from going off the FCP (Internap Flow Control Platform) turning off the cisco firewall, turning off iptables, enabling all ports in the hardware firewall. Does anyone else know of anything else i can try, this is really annoying.
  3. one is a upload, one is a download.
  4. :2funny: :2funny:
  5. its not cached. lost329 nice speeds.
  6. that is not going to be till the end of 07 early 08 maybe "we all know how the vista schedule worked" windows "Vienna" aka. "seven" aka. "7" might be out before longhorn server :2funny: Your on XP right now witch could be the worst server OS ever, it would be much better to go to 2000, or 2003. It would be much more secure and give you a ton more control.
  7. if you want security get rid of windows XP. go to 2000 or 2003 they would be far more secure for running a server then XP.
  8. :2funny:

  12. actually it only costs 10 bucks a month. LOL, its going to be very hard to get 100mbps up and down to any house in the US or the world. for anything the average person could afford. that trace route is from my dedicated servers, and i can get ping times like that because my server is maybe 1500-2000 feet from it, they are both in the same building.
  13. the planet is actually really fast, your route to the planet is slow. traceroute to testmy.net (67.18.179.85), 30 hops max, 38 byte packets 1 uploadingit.com (75.126.83.193) 1.939 ms 2.076 ms 0.527 ms 2 cer02-v51.dal01.softlayer.com (66.228.119.226) 0.517 ms 0.306 ms 0.508 ms 3 aer1-ge-3-5.dallasequinix.savvis.net (208.175.175.41) 0.527 ms 0.506 ms * 4 dpr1-ge-2-2-0.dallasequinix.savvis.net (204.70.194.17) 107.762 ms 1.088 ms 0.524 ms 5 dcr2-so-7-2-0.Dallas.savvis.net (204.70.193.214) 0.530 ms dcr2-so-5-2-0.Dallas.savvis.net (204.70.194.66) 55.788 ms 1.073 ms 6 208.172.139.130 (208.172.139.130) 1.252 ms 1.207 ms 1.099 ms 7 * te9-1.dsr01.dllstx3.theplanet.com (70.87.253.6) 1.527 ms 1.622 ms 8 vl41.dsr01.dllstx4.theplanet.com (70.85.127.83) 1.596 ms 1.403 ms 1.420 ms 9 * gi1-0-2.car17.dllstx4.theplanet.com (67.18.116.85) 13.261 ms 21.218 ms 10 55.b3.1243.static.theplanet.com (67.18.179.85) 1.660 ms 1.295 ms 1.685 ms
