hyperthreading is basically making yoru mobo think you have 2 processors, becuase of the power of the P4 it can basically double its own work load take a look at : http://www.intel.com/technology/hyperthread/

I have to say..........my rr seems to be shitty lately too.......i have tweaked my new setup and i can only download about 1.5 mbps.....not right.... i dont know what the problem is, but we are moving and i need internet, i think they may lose a customer if this keeps up....

the point is.......those hard drives are totally differnt.....one is SCSI, one is ultraATA, TOTALLY different hard drives and in the way they work.....thats the problem......
