hey when i tweak up my comp, its wierd, i can make the upload go up, bu then the download goes down, then i tweak up the downlload and the uplload goes down, what should i tweak so both stays nice and high, or what is more important to tweak up????????

hey wingzero2309 ur scrwed it cost like sending a regular text message. unless ur on a plan, i suggest a 2.99 plan it saves u money if ur gonna use that a lot.

but the membership fee u pay a year is for unlimited use?????? cause if it is, then thats good, cause cingular charges 2 bucks plus the download size and its alwayz expensive, but depending on how much the membership fee is, its all good..

im not really sure what satellite im on but it starts with the GA or Gm or something like that, that is true about cloudy days the signal does go up, but when its clear its just goes down.

i would aslo like to add my improved download speed, i was normally getting about 123kb/s no i get a very good 127kb/s

hey u know that a while ago my signal strenght was about 56, now it is at 69. adn the wierd thing is that it has never gone above 60.

yea i did back up my registry, i also found out if your using satellite to set ur tcpwindowsize to the lowest possible, to get better connection speed. you should try it, under hkey_local_machine/system/curentcontrol/services/tcpip/parameters then create or edit tcpwindowsize and set it to ur custom computer settings, then restaert ut computer and you will get a bigg change on ur speed, cause it worked on mine

i was copying the registry off of my friends computer cause i messed with my computer, so i wanted my registry to be the same as my friends, so i went one by one, well the ones related to the internet, and i also messed with the proxy settings wich really helped.
