    Don't Upgrade to DW6000

    It should be, but remove all cablenut and TCP optimizer tweaks first.....and just follow the directions in the readme file no tools needed to do the tweaks.....the first one is from Dway the LCCU file needs to be done first then just double click on the .reg file and it will edit you registry for you.....this file came from speedguide.net

    Damn this site needs work.....I got a message "a new post was posted while you were typing a post do you want to review it before posting your new post?"  LIKE AN IDIOT I SAID YES, AND WHEN TO SEE WHAT THE POST WAS...WENT BACK AND ALL OF MY STUFF THAT WAS GOING TO BE POSTED WAS ALL GONE AGAIN.  WHATS WITH THAT...IF YOU DO ANYTHING AT ALL YOU LOOSE ALL OF YOUR MESSAGE WHEN YOU COME BACK TO IT.....I HATE TYPING OVER AND OVER AGAIN.

    Before you have a cow try this......remove all cablenut and TCP optimizer tweaks......install these per directions in the enclosed readme.txt file.......you should get these speeds if your using XP Pro Service pack2 with all of the upgrades.

    An Error Has Occurred!

    Sorry! There is already an attachment with the same filename as the one you tried to upload. Please rename the file and try again. 

    If its on the system why is it not with my post......I am the one who posted it.

    I have added things to the zip file and it won't let me send it , why does it not let me( the one who sent it) modify it or over write it or even find it?!

    I am getting burned out..........i have posted a good speed fix with two attachments  and it says they are already posted, bu I can't find them anywhere.....I hit the back button and all i have typed is gone and i start all over again with the explanation and attachments.....tired of typing but here are my speeds they were easy to get...but I AM NOT GOING THROUGH THIS AGAIN FOR THE THIRD TIME!!

    this still seem to good to be true,,,so I tried Toast.net and off of almost every server listed my speed was only 667, which unfortunately seem to be more accurate.....still don't know why I get these false speed test readings from testmy.net....hummmmm a real poser

    Really I cleared files, all offline files, cookies and history and I still get these false readings.....I am not using any kind of web accelerator, they suck anyway......so did dway do some kind of accelerator or cache system to screw with my speed tests?  Its hard to tweak things in if you don't have a good reference point!

    I have always cleared the cache and cookies...... the speed I was getting three weeks ago 800-1200 is gone....when the test gives me results that are closer to reality I am only getting 700-800 now and that's at three in the morning, any new dw6000 cable-nut tweaks that work...I have tired several cable-nut tweaks and I can't see any difference.

    I beg to differ with those who say the internet speeds are not effected by computer speed.....I have a new asus motherboard with dual gig LAN.......and I went form 700-900Kbps to a whopping 1000+ to 1500!!

    my signal stays at 62 rain or shine.....I was just wondering, because I will get a steady 1029 download speed varying from 1029 to low 1100's then it will fall off to 400-500 for a sec or two then go back up......but it does it about the same time during the largest speed test on test-my.net.....like the signal fades then comes back strong....but it shoots my average download speed in the foot while doing it!

    my direcway TV dish get a 88-90 signal...how come it's stronger than the internet dish?

    If I wasn't waiting for FedEx tracking numbers to let me know when my system parts arrived, it would bother me as much....BUT EVERYTIME SOMETHING IMPORTANT IS IN THE WORKS IT'S LIKE I JINKS THE SYSTEM AND IT CRASHES!!

    bah humbug mumble grumble #$@^%$% anyway!

    as soon as I get my new system and have to download all of the patches and upgrades for the OS the internet will be down, but e-mail will be working just fine!!

    Some people have all of the luck!  I live 70 miles from a city big enough to buy computer stuff at...then it's at retail prices.  The internet has been great for good quality at low prices!  Even with the occasional shipping charges it is usually cheaper!

    what is with dway...they can't seem to keep there equipment running....first it's internet speed issues then it's e-mail woes...is their equipment getting too old?  Are they just plain stupid and don't know how to support their equipment?.  Or did they farm out the repair team to India along with the phone support group?

    I have had the most inconstant service since I don't know when.......never, thats when, never!

    Try zipzoomfly.com they have free shipping 2nd day FedEx.  I used newegg.com and paid for shipping on a video card and CPU cooler.....if zipzoomfly had it in stock the shipping would have been free instead I paid an extra 20 plus bucks....I WANT WHAT I WANT WHEN I WANT IT....SO I PAID FOR IT!
