lol i had sum problems like that but with a diff game, port forwarding was pointles but have u tried the port range forwarding and port trigering, or just the forwarding options, and no mater what ur prolly gona have to set up ur router to use the dhcp instead of static and static routing, if u are static routing i take it ur looking more towards the speed aproach of setup, if thats really the case, then u might want to get rid of the router it self and look more towards a "GiGabyte Switch or sumthing like it" it protects u and gives str8 internet to ur pc's no wan,gateway nothing! and i suggest upgrading to Cat6 cables"a lil overkill but" reduced me about 11ms in ping and increased the threashold, my pops says theres sumthing inside xp a menu"advanced tcp/ip setings in theres a menu for tcp/ip filtering, generaly used with sataic setups" if thats any help u might be able to opne the port there

Recently I Acuried for $20 a Dell Latitude CPi "300MHz " ;( " with 128 mb ram with a missing power supply cord now being that its not vituraly worth $20 rofl the point is to not spend any more money on it so, the power input, for the cord conection says 20v "dc" 3.5a now being that im currently powering a grid aray of fans and heat sinks run a muck runing all acros comps monitors hardrives, etc etc, powered of 2 old desktop power supplys . got me to thinking well all ud have to do is input 20v dc at 3.5 a no matter if its a laptop power supply or a desktop as longh as the voltage and amperage match shel run, i sprinted down to radio shack to get the lil 1dolar adapter piece that converts the 3 pins in the powersocket to a usable line"the power supply is 2 parts, the transfmer, the output to laptop" so i just nneded the top part, now when i asked the radio shack guy which ones + - n ground he said it dont work like that rofl, so for the next 5 minuts we argued over weither or not a desktop power supply matching the requirments of the laptops power input would work, he tol me this and i quote" the uh laptops uh power supply it uh it kinda send eletricty in packets like uh say the internet does, sumtimes less than the amperage it needs,

u know orignaly i started with a Comcast 3 mb line, then ordered the pro line 6mb down 1 up but i only got 5.7 tops dl no matter what i did until...... i delted all the cablenut, ispeed, and tweakxp programs, set up mtu mss rwin in cmd, and got cat 6 cables and nowa blistering 6.4 /but only .7 tops ul i can push bro and my hardwares top end!! lol comon man im not a huh, duh what u say, noob lol but yes the long eformat what im trying to do but everthing works as it should the boot disk , loades everything fine its just i C:/Format C: n it confirms i wnana do it, start and before it reaches 1% it shuts down and says formating is not permited on the c, terminating format. now im not trying to just use the xp cd to flip it or a nuker do this the "long way as u said" so what do i do from here to reformat the long way being i never saw a drive not permiting format like this b4 suggestions?

im kinda tryign to help a freind but his sys32 filw is there as i presumed but i get this error when i boot to comand prompt ms dos w/e when i try to reformat, fdisk works fine just it wont format liuke the c is locked or sumthing

what do u do when u try to reformat C: in bios but when u do it it thne soon says formating not permited on the c, terminating format. and the system 32 file is missing on this comp

a wjhile ago i had trouble reformating sa pc, u guys helped exclently but u guys suggested a command that wa slike "Format C: /sys or sumthing to completly reformat and rebuild c filke structures on a comp that had a misisng sys 32 file, anyhow i just need to know what thta comand was again, thanks

nice seems like a good idea, but i gota lock this down as best as possible and use as least firewalls NAT 's n shit just basic securities so any kinda harware or non firewall locks help wiht having to format it so much

on my older pc i have a big c and f drive, i was gona dedicate that pc to downloads what i was wondering besides the obvious wasy to secure drives from security threats is there any way i can say lock part of the c drive where my programs are and make shure that no infections could get in, or will i have to lock the entire c and run my net cache n temp files in the f? if possible i would really like to just lock my programs and windows n shuch from everything else to reduce infections at least or maybe even make it lkast longer between reformatings.

now i realllllly f__n wish i had a camera to post pics of this but recently i came acros a total of 17 lil fans dc powered fans , between 8ma and 30ma varying in power and size, a bundle of heat sinks many different kinds and 1 ac powered fan that can moove 48cu it says on it but i also came across a old pc power supply and these lil thingys that look like lil tiny squares about 1'' by 1'' and 1/2'' thick "exactly the demensions to cover the surface area of a pentium processor, theres a lil positive wire and a negative wire on it. I pluged this lil thing in and found one side got reaaly hot and one side got really cold, i remembered seeing another 1 with a heat sink and a fan on it so i got it and pluged it in and realized sumthing for the cold side to get cold the hot side gets hot so the colder u get the hot side the colder the cold side gets, so i mounted an enerous uncalled for heat sink on it a a 15ma 3'' fan on the hot side via high temp glue and i got the hot side so cold that the cold side when i touched it caused a lil welch burn on my finger. I emmedatly mounted this on the hottest point on my amd cpu heat sink and tested the temp, it brought it down about 30-43degrees"amazing" i then took 2 more lil fans and fit them, glued and wired so they take air about at the motherboard level and move it through the entire heatsink and away from the comp, i then using bread ties mounted 4 more fans sucking air from over the other fans and out away from the comp. tested it and it relived an additional 30 degrees now being that i cant possibly put any more fans on the heat sink side of the cpu i took the largest nastiest heat sink i had and straped it to the back side the side with the amd label and put 2 10ma fans on it it relived about 13degrees then i began overclocking my processor even more, its now running 4 levels from toped out speed now i run it absoutley as fast as i can without the motherboard coping out. Then i felt the heat sink on my viedo card it was even hotter then my cpu so i immedatly mounted with bread ties again an enerous heatsink and a 13ma 3'' fan now it runs alot better and it handles overclocking well! so i still had fans left over and i saved the other lil hpot cold chip and by now it was dryed with the glue around the sides of the motherdady of all heatsinks and my second strongest fan, so then i decided that my other comp is a pos and i cant overclock it jkuz its on the fritz"i droped it and the motherboard suffered damage" i decided to wait to cool it till later, realizing my modem and router get reall hot i removed the covers and looked inside, i found a small chip in my modem at was clearly the lil processor for it, felt it and it was squelching hot, i mounted the last hotcold thiny in there with the massive heat sink, inside my router there was many chips all hot so i fit heat sinks as possible and mounted a 8'' house fan inside the lil compartment i got this shit in blowing right down on top of em, then a lil whiole back i posted here to try and fix a monitor overheatng problem, well i did just that with the ac fan, i duck tape mounted it on top of my overheating monitor sucking air up and out, with duck tape covered all the holes on the sides and left the ones on the bottom, then mounted the remaining dc fans on bottom blowing air up and science it hasent overheated yet i already know every thing is running better but u gota understand after u run outa options to tweak ur comp from ur keyboard and mouse u gota loook outside the box, and its been proven the colder u get ur componets the harder u can work em to better understand go to the intel website and look up "absolute zero" after i did i had a lil nifty idea to cool componets even more, being that i have refergiated air and it gets really cold in her ei had an idea, i covered the entire vent in my room with plastic tunnel shit it looks like syran wrap, and ran a 6'' lil tunnel to the calla it a air router. i took a trash bag tied it up and cut 5 lil holes, 1 input and 4 outputs, 1 runs a 4'' tunnel to my router and modem, one runs to the old pc, one runs to the bottom fans on the overhating monitor and 1 runs directly to the fan input on the pc tower, outside the case but it blows right to the bottom level of the cpu call that top speed technology
