Well i rebooted the modem, still no avail.

i kno ive posted before on this, but im tryin to speed my connection up again, i got a new modem and i reinstalled windows and im only pullin around 295KB/s on SBC dsl pro, im uppin at 52-56KB/s so my UP is fine, just the DL needs some help

Hey, im just wondering if there is a site where i can get info on a IP? Like the ISP-if i DNS the ip it only DNS to its domain they bought, so i cant find the ISP out. Any1 kno a site?

blazed u might try resetting ur ram to, take ur sticks of ram out and just pop them back in the same place

looks ppl r just scanning a certain IP range and u just had to b in it is my guess

Does anyone know of a program that i could install on a computer to limit the bandwidth?

my brother is constantly downloading things and takin up my 3meg line so i want to limit him to like a 1mbit DL/128kbps UP. Im pretty sure there is some program i can do that with, someone help!

u could b just gettn 'ramped' up, or the settings, give it a few days i guess, cause when i frst got my dsl it was slower and my modem kept gettn rebooted for  a couple days, then after about 10 days it got all straightened out
