    T1 is it worth the money?

    a lot of schools(smaller maybe) use T1's because they have other campuses maybe miles away and they can use the t1 to connect those to the main server, like my old private school had dual t1's and they used one t1 to connect 2 other elementary campuses 15 or so miles away from the high school (the high school had the server/router) and they were all on the LAN.

    eh kinda slow...i think the connection is 10mbit but there is like 500 computers on and 10 or so computer classes (im in one of them now)..the speed varies a lot though

    ive used linux..tons of times.  i found fedora core to be the best for new users..ive heard tons of people say it was a crap OS and some people say its very good. i personally never had a problem with it, it all worked perfectly to me  :D
