i have the pro plan on sbc (3000/416, its dsl) my internet is like this Internet - Windows 2k Server - Switch - Rest of comps i only have DNS probs on the Rest of Comps part : whenever i load IE up it says Detecting Proxy Settings.. and it stays there for about 20 seconds, its not really a big deal, but it gets annoying after a while

wheni try to do the nslookup command in cmd i get this *** Can't find server name for address 192.168.0.1: Non-existent domain *** Default servers are not available Server: UnKnown Address: 192.168.0.1 I don't know what is going on, any help? it will sometime DNS the IP i try and sometimes it wont, its a on and off basis, but i get that error everytime

i wish i could get speeds like that >.< i rooted a comp thats 100mbit, its nice =P i tested it on testmy.net and it only got 9kb/s upload , i didnt even bother with DL, but on mirc speeds will go 9,000-11,000kb/s =P located in korea

looks like ur on the basic plan and thats about tha best speeds ya gonna b gettn...i hate sbc...speeds nvr as fast as advertised =( soon as my 1yr contract is up its byebye SBC and hello comcast pro

download is always slower, like around 90kb/s because people are playing online games etc. the fastest ive DLed a file was 162kb/s the upload has always been faster.. we have dual t1's i think, but they arent on the same raouter (like a dual WAN one) they each on seperate routers and i think half the comps r on one t1 and the other half on the other one... i could be wrong, but i believe thats how they have it set up

with no network load, the upload is around 180kb/s i think its a t1

lol thats my schools internet with all computer classes online i just wish i could have that at my house =( lol
