You've set up your browser correctly to be able to view that, right?

This is what is supposed to be in IE to be able to view the system control center:

Open IE -> tools -> internet options -> connections -> LAN Settings -> check "use a proxy server for LAN" -> advanced -> add 192.168.0.1 to the bottom "exceptions" box.

You should be able to view the page now; if not, we're getting no where.

I get the same problem about once a week. All I do is power cycle the modem.

No more broken images or having to refresh pages.

Firefox is tough to tweak. There is an extension called "tweak  network settings", which is very easy to use.

Google "Firefox speed tweaks" and you'll also see a lot of user friendly guides on how to get FF faster.

I've seen my speeds go from 40 kb/s to 70 using some speed tweaks; I can't seem to get any higher.

Do you have Direcway?

I can get downloads at about 20-60 kb/s on Limewire, while when I tried Bittorrent I couldn't get more than 2 kb/s.

as far as the lccu goes yes i did,, sorry that upload doesnt help,direcwwhat even has a program called turbo pop which i tried as well but to no avail as well,, and yes it is a dw6000,,cant get dsl,,and i cant stand cable comps even  though they seem to be the best as far as speed goes sides t1-t3 and soon,,

I never had any peoblems with direc pc besides 3/4 of the tech support people can hardly speak english let alone help someone. i always got like 2.0mb d/l with my dw4000 system but i will check out wild blue for sure.
