I did a quick search and could not find a thread on this topic, anyhoo I am curious as how are members and guests came up with their names. I'll begin...'TheHalf' taken from a Rush song titled the same in which I was not only moved by the music but also the lyrics. I've done some research on the ability to download videos from 'YouTube' but I cannot seem to decide on which tool to use. Currently I am thinking of the VideoDownloader Firefox Extension, any suggestions err anyone using a toolsoftware with no problems please chime in...and thankx in advance. TheHalf

I was already thinking that, for the new servers here I may not be able to get accurate upload results from testmy anymore. TheHalf

Oh I don't put validation links in my sig, it's just to crowded and that is a valid upload result from here! TheHalf

The only adjustment I made was to the network adapter and switching it from Full Duplex to automatic after rr.com gave me the upgrade, now I ran upload test here after the fact and was doing swell; now as you can see...not so swell. TheHalf

I have XPPro and my uploads here were like those at other test sites anywhere from 1.5Mbps to 1.9Mbps up, now it's around 800Kbps up. TheHalf

As you take a look at my sig consider this, recently here at testmy my uploads are far from where they were once before. Now I ran test at http://speedtest.cogeco.net and here are my results: 14456 / 1747 (Kbps) (1764.7 / 213.3 kB/sec) I cannot seem to achieve upload results that are close to what I receive from rr.com here at testmy anymore. You may also want to adjust the "System Restore" within the slave drive and prevent that OS from monitoring your XPPro on the master drive in case of system failure. TheHalf
