raptors892004 Posted January 18, 2006 CID Share Posted January 18, 2006 sorry (forgot the link) http://www.softpedia.com/get/Multimedia/Video/Encoders-Converter-DIVX-Related/ACE-Mega-CoDecS-Pack.shtml You better uninstall any previously installed packs before installing this one (just to avoid any version codec problems or anything, or it may ask you to uninstall specific installed codecs, I don't know) .. Good luck with this pack.. It has a control panel that gets added in windows control panel for all the codecs as well

organ_shifter Posted January 18, 2006 CID Share Posted January 18, 2006 The codec pack that I linked you to is offered through SoftPedia as well. I'll post the links so you can see exactly what the differences are. After observing the description between the two, the K-Lite Codec Pack 2.68 offers much more. That's not even the K-Lite Mega version, which offers way more than the standard, full version. I definitely think you should stick with K-Lite. Scroll down to view the description on the right. K-Lite Codec Pack 2.68 vs ACE Mega CoDecS Pack 6.03 Check out the description of the K-Lite MCP. It easily owns both of them at only 30MB! raptors892004 Posted January 18, 2006 CID Share Posted January 18, 2006 As far as I could tell from the ACE MCP Dashboard (Control Panel for the codecs) it lists over 150 codecs installed and I almost used full install.. How many codecs does K-Lite MCP offer?
