Raistlin666 Posted January 31, 2006 CID Share Posted January 31, 2006 If you install windows make sure to take all of linux off first, you'll prob have to formatt cause in my own experience if you try to install windows youll get the errors if ya dont

dlewis23 Posted January 31, 2006 CID Share Posted January 31, 2006 Raistlin666 he is using a Linux live CD not install required, fattymcbuff i would just try running the windows repair. and if that does not work you probaly going to have to reformat. richcornucopia Posted January 31, 2006 CID Share Posted January 31, 2006 Try this Start Registry Editor (Start, Run and type in regedit then click) Find "UpperFilters" and "LowerFilters" (and "UpperFilters.bak" "LowerFilters.bak", if they exist) value under the following key in the registry, and delete it: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMCurrentControlSetControlClass{4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318} Quit Registry Editor. Reboot.
