I dont think there is a mobile manufacturer that still uses the Power line of processors.. maybe lenovo will offer one.

dlewis23 Posted February 8, 2006 CID Share Posted February 8, 2006 Nvidia has been doing something very close to that, for a few years now, that's why there GPU's have so many transistors.
richcornucopia Posted February 8, 2006 CID Share Posted February 8, 2006 So will Ibm start selling processors like amd and intel do, or will they just be avilable for companies?
Indestructable Posted February 9, 2006 CID Share Posted February 9, 2006 i sense new, more powerful motherboards coming in the very near future that fully support these IBM chips, because it's simple: people want power, and by seeing what mac has done with the G5 is enough for me to go out and buy me one of the new ones just to put XP (or vista, haha) on it.
