wyantm06 Posted February 19, 2006 CID Share Posted February 19, 2006 Why would a laptop restart if you turn the volume up all the way? I have done several tests to even make sure it was this and it is. I turn the volume up all the way and it just restarts out of no where. Really weird, anyone know? Btw I got a Dell Latitude laptop. EDIT: Of course this is when listening to music.
peepnklown Posted February 20, 2006 CID Share Posted February 20, 2006 Which OS are you running? Which media player are you using? What model of Dell are you using?
tommie gorman Posted February 20, 2006 CID Share Posted February 20, 2006 See what type of music it likes, calm the BEAST! Dumb answer, but maybe if you move the tower away from speaker vibration? Open box and see if there is any type of spark inside when you do this?
cholla Posted February 20, 2006 CID Share Posted February 20, 2006 Could it be draining the power supply?
FGOKURULES Posted February 20, 2006 CID Share Posted February 20, 2006 My question is Are you listening to the same song when your doing this or is it doing it to anything you listen to? My machine restarted once when i downloaded and opened an mp3 off the web. We do have some ass holes out there who love to phreak still.
