DaKeith Posted February 25, 2006 CID Share Posted February 25, 2006 ok first, I think theres a teamspeak server file and a client file, not sure but me and my friends use Ventrilo(much better in my opion) but if theres not 2 diff file, try to install teamspeak into a diff folder and use one program as the server and one as the client. hope this might help u out

Swimmer Posted February 25, 2006 CID Share Posted February 25, 2006 if you use the same codec as ventrilo uses the voice sounds 100 times better...
fattymcbluff Posted February 27, 2006 CID Share Posted February 27, 2006 if you use the same codec as ventrilo uses the voice sounds 100 times better... what codec does it use cuz i host a teamspeak server and the voice is ok
Swimmer Posted February 27, 2006 CID Share Posted February 27, 2006 GSM 16.4 That is what I have used.. It is pretty much the same codec, as far as i can tell, that ventrilo uses by default. I would be interested in hearing SPEEX 25.9.. I have never use it..
jared Posted February 27, 2006 CID Share Posted February 27, 2006 I thought the tamspeak server was listenonly... must have changed that sometime.
