Marcin541 Posted March 3, 2006 CID Share Posted March 3, 2006 if its a 5400rpm its gonna be slow, i have a 7200 external, i believe, and it works like my internal one. Did you do windows update? The basic windows xp without any service packs has no usb 2.0 drivers and u will get high speed Usb device is plugged into non high speed port
