FallowEarth Posted April 7, 2006 CID Share Posted April 7, 2006 Check the connections? Tried connecting the monitor to another tower? What have you done? Swimmer Posted April 7, 2006 CID Share Posted April 7, 2006 might want to try and reinstall the video drivers.. is this an LCD or CRT? Link to comment https://testmy.net/ipb/topic/12564-flat-screen-pc-screen-jittersjumps/#findComment-132766 Share on other sites
j3grizz Posted April 7, 2006 CID Share Posted April 7, 2006 I had one that gave me the same problem. It was a bad screen from the factory. If you do the checks that FallowEarth suggested and it still gives you problems send it back if it is under warranty. wyantm06 Posted April 7, 2006 Author CID Share Posted April 7, 2006 I hear people talking about dead pixels. What are those? How can you tell if you have them? richcornucopia Posted April 7, 2006 CID Share Posted April 7, 2006 The screen is made up of tons of pixels. When one of these pixels dies it stops doing what it should so part of your screen where the dead pixel is might not work, be discolored, or just act strange. Sounds to me like it might be something other than dead pixels.
