CaptainSauce Posted April 11, 2006 CID Share Posted April 11, 2006 I just downloaded the free version of realVNC off their site (www.realVNC.com) i installed it and im playing around with it because i want to set it up so i can access my computer from my computer class at school... after installing it i try to run the server and a dos screen pops up saying 'Starting User-Mode VNC Server.' and it just sits there.... why is it not connecting, i know i dont have it firewalled... any ideas anyone? richcornucopia Posted April 11, 2006 CID Share Posted April 11, 2006 If you just have it installed on one computer its pointless as you have nowhere to connect to...
CaptainSauce Posted April 11, 2006 Author CID Share Posted April 11, 2006 i thought starting the server was just getting it running so that i can access it from another computer
