bigw Posted April 29, 2006 CID Share Posted April 29, 2006 Well after many years of good service my DVD player died.... I would like to hook up my PC to my TV so i can still watch DVDs. Is there a good way to hook them up wirelessly so I can watch DVDs from my computer on my TV? I have a wireless router, a good video card(nvidia geforce4 ti4200) and a surround sound system. Any ideas?
Swimmer Posted April 29, 2006 CID Share Posted April 29, 2006 Are you talking about a broadcast point? The problem is going to be bandwidth.. Even on a 10/100 network bandwidth is easy consumed with about 5 clients.. Might want to check out this.. http://www.dlink.com/products/?sec=1&pid=438 You might be able to get them for cheap on ebay because they really have not taken off at all. dn0 Posted April 30, 2006 CID Share Posted April 30, 2006 This A/V sender receiver is probably your best bet, that is if you have an A/V out on your video card. Click here for an example from Radio Shack But, I would just pick up a $35 WalMart DVD player, my cheapy has been going strong for about a year now.
