Keep up the good work now the help part when i connect to the internet i get a message "connected at 576 Kbps"but i get a very slow download speed 1- I use windows xp wid sp2 installed 2-I have a Internet connection with touchtelindia.net 3-Ive downloaded cable nut adjuster but havnt tweaked yet(Basiccaly because i dont know how to) 4- these are my results from speed suide.net SpeedGuide.net TCP/IP Analyzer TCP properties for IP = () Browser/OS = Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.0.3) Gecko/20060426 Firefox/1.5.0.3 Notes: Read the Analyzer FAQ if the above is not your IP address. dlewis23 Posted May 15, 2006 CID Share Posted May 15, 2006 tusharjalan i just noticed that you are testing from India, thats why your speeds are so slow, you download speeds are not actually what you are getting from here, if you download a file from a site that is close to you you should be able to max or get very close to your 576kbps. sorry about not being able to really help you get a faster speed to the US, its just because you are so far away almost 8,500 miles Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

dlewis23 Posted May 16, 2006 CID Share Posted May 16, 2006 ok tusharjalan after seing that and having you tweak your connection twice I think that your not going to get any faster. i don't know 100% whats causing you to only get those speeds but since you are on DSL you may be just too far from the CO to get anything faster.
