porsche6714 Posted June 12, 2006 CID Share Posted June 12, 2006 I did do the cablenut tweak which is what got me over my cap for download speeds but my upload has been like that since the day they installed it. And yes i have tried the adelphia speed test. Download speed is usually closer to 4000kbps-4200kbps but i can live with that. Upload is almost always the same no matter what i use to test my conection. I wish adelphia would come and install the adelphia extreme where i live. 16Mbps down and 2Mbps up, for $60. Thats what i pay now for the service i have. I have to pay a little than normal more because its a business account i use for work.

Most Adelphia HSI customers on these forums would like the Extreme 16/2 service (me included) but the truth is it's just not bring deployed in many places. Last summer there were adding 1-2 cities per month but I haven't seen their Extreme page updated in at least 2 months...which could be because of the CC/TW deal. TheHalf Posted June 14, 2006 CID Share Posted June 14, 2006 I had to purchase a new MotoSB5120 modem and talking to an Adelphia tech to get it provisioned I did ask about their Extreme tier rolling out in the area in which I live and it was a clear no...dammit. :::.. testmy.net test results ..::: Download Connection is:: 6689 Kbps about 6.69 Mbps (tested with 5983 kB) Download Speed is:: 817 kB/s Upload Connection is:: 890 Kbps about 0.89 Mbps (tested with 1496 kB) Upload Speed is:: 109 kB/s Tested From:: https://testmy.net (Server 2) Test Time:: 2006/06/14 - 4:03am D-Validation Link:: https://testmy.net/stats/id-GQVYXIC4D U-Validation Link:: https://testmy.net/stats/id-BSD7PG1IH User Agent:: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8.0.4) Gecko/20060508 Firefox/1.5.0.4 [!] Soon Verizon FiOS TheHalf
