I'm on roadrunner with advertised speed of 5000/384 :::.. Download Stats ..::: Connection is:: 4826 Kbps about 4.83 Mbps (tested with 2992 kB) Download Speed is:: 589 kB/s Tested From:: https://testmy.net (Server 2) Test Time:: 2006/05/28 - 3:12pm Bottom Line:: 84X faster than 56K 1MB Download in 1.74 sec Tested from a 2992 kB file and took 5.078 seconds to complete Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; SV1; .NET CLR 1.1.4322; .NET CLR 2.0.50727) Diagnosis: Looks Great : 4.66 % faster than the average for host (rr.com) Validation Link:: https://testmy.net/stats/id-PH85NQ7AC which this test is pretty good but my ave. is 4775 kbps :: 583 KB/sec. :::.. Thanks servers are located in Texas just as php said. and going to the 8MB plan is most likely the only way to get more speed. your already very close to your advertised speed as it is.
