cholla Posted October 22, 2006 CID Share Posted October 22, 2006 tommie; If you look in the dial-up section I posted 2 topics on the NDT web 100 test. These are the best info I found on reading the results of that test. For me it is always faster than my connection actually is but is good to check for packet loss & to see how it reads you RWIN. cholla Posted October 22, 2006 CID Share Posted October 22, 2006 bryanlautt ;This was done at the site in your link.It says I have a Cable/DSL modem but I have a 56K internal modem. This is not a suprise because this test reads it this way at its other test sites.I'm putting in a link that hsa several sites for this test. These will have a lot more information on your test. http://e2epi.internet2.edu/ndt/ndt-server-list.html I use the one in this box Other Available Servers: the Abilene ones don't work for me I think they are for faster connections but I'm not sure.
