rhapsodyfan Posted October 21, 2006 CID Share Posted October 21, 2006 hey ijust bought the new mad dog 18X megastor and when i opened it up it says writemaster on the front of the drive instead of mad dog and has on the back DVD Writer Model SH-S182 but on the box it has MD-18XTFI whats going on is this not a Mad Dog Drive?? I did a search on both model #'s and the mad dog was about $70 and the Samsung model is about half that price... If you got it cheaper than that and happy with it's performance, then keep it and enjoy.
