ok so i went on my sister computer and i have kerio firewall on there. It said that it has detected a kernel memory dump and asked me if i thought kerio casued the problem and stuff. What exactly does kernel memory dump mean and is it a major security risk?

It means your OS has a major problem.  Could be software, could be hardware...that remains to be seen.  In either case it's not good.

this is what a memory dump is

its nothing to worry about ryan, it happens all the time.

One should not be getting memory dumps during the course of normal operations.  This is a significant error and he needs to find out why it's happening.  If you are getting these errors all the time then you also want to be looking into the root cause.
