Sparticus Posted November 8, 2006 CID Share Posted November 8, 2006 When you say, "Just" do you mean as in like 10 minutes ago? Have you tweaked? Have you called your ISP? Try a power cycle. For tweaking I reccomend TCP Optimizer. If you just upgraded give it some time.
kilgil27 Posted November 8, 2006 Author CID Share Posted November 8, 2006 I did it maybe half an hour ago. He told me that I could just reset my modem and I would be good to go. Do you think my modem is limiting it? And yes, I did some tweaking for my old connection

Do you think my modem is limiting it? And yes, I did some tweaking for my old connection your going to need to re-tweak. but first unplug your modem and wait about 30sec and plug it back it, just to be sure you are getting your new config file for the faster speed. I'm so confused I didn't think it would. I say give it some time. Thats about all you can do, if it's not better in the morning then I say call and get a tech out to your house. EDIT: Try some speedtest on other sites.
