tommie gorman Posted November 19, 2006 CID Share Posted November 19, 2006 No that is not fast. Although a nice advertised speed. Have you read this? To achieve the best performance out of your computer. http://www.testmy.net/forum/t-4257 The whole page. Also have you tried tweaking it yet? Try reading here. TCP Optimizer is easier, and the cablenut is more tweakable. http://www.testmy.net/forum/t-1013 Also post a speed test before doing anything so we can see your progress for making suggestions. Try this test. Clear out your temp files before clicking on it, it will take you directly into the test. http://www.testmy.net/tools/test/d_load.php?&st=st&tt=1&ta=1&top=000&out_src=20MB To clear out temp files. Top of browser*Tools*Internet Options*Delete Files including Offline Content*OK*OK*test. Hope that helps. And by the way, most folks don't bump til the next day at least. Not everybody is on at the same time. It may take more than just 2 or 3 hours to get a response.

tommie gorman Posted November 22, 2006 CID Share Posted November 22, 2006 Nice speeds asrabbit91, what your advertised speeds??
asrabbit91 Posted November 23, 2006 Author CID Share Posted November 23, 2006 10 mb download, and 1 mb upload. I think they just split mine(was by a college) so for a while it was floating around 3 to 5 mbs. Now it's back to what it should be around 8 and 900. It's perfect for gaming and stuff. For some reason on speak easy my download is always a little bit faster.
