It is very clear that when you need the speed for larger downloads the download speeds will drop like a rock after about 3000kb downloads mine will drop to around 684 Kbps or around 83 kB/s download and a lot lower in some cases.

What the hell good is that?? I paid for 1.5MB download an if it comes out to 1621 Kbps or 1.6 Mbps

downloaded at: 198 kB/s I could live with but this , 70 to 80 kB/s is not acceptable.

Something has to be done with this companies xlornet.com rip off , and misleading advertisements

that do not deliver  any were close to what you pay for.

And then after you paid for installing it smugly replied O sir the speeds you are getting are acceptable.

And then go on to say ,you have thirty days to cancel . BUT YOU ARE STUCK WITH INSTALL COSTS> in my case $184.00

While that is like pulling up to get gas and they have a price of say $3.00 dallars a gallon you say give me 10 gallons and they deliver 5 gallons a charge you $30.00 and tell them this is not acceptable, and then say while if you do not like it we will take gas back for a cost of $60.00 I thing not

another unhappy customer ... I am currently cancelling my service with xplornet and going with an 'UNPLUGGED wireless service' from another Canadian service provider..

Dealing with xplornet is like being robbed on a monthly basis

Where are the lawyers interested in class-action suits?

xplornet tries to cover themselves by stating they DO NOT provide for 'minimum' speeds...but I feel as though they can only provide service a little bit faster than dial-up.......get out while u can or get minmum service and minimum service levels..

This company is not interested in retaining a market share.  It seems they are only interested in ripping off customers as they do not anywhere seem to provide customers with close to the speeds they pay for..  If u are in Canada look up unplugged wireless...just an option at a fraction of the cost... and we got an extension of the trial period without any problems to see if the service will stack up to it's claims over a longer period.
