porsche6714 Posted March 16, 2007 CID Share Posted March 16, 2007 Thats ok, but the easiest way to boost signal and speed is to get hacked firmware for your router. I have a Linksys WRT54G with DD-WRT firmware on it and I cant go anywhere in my house without having full signal strength.

That's A way, but hardly the easiest way, esp if you dont have that now discontinued router.
porsche6714 Posted March 17, 2007 CID Share Posted March 17, 2007 It works with a bunch of different routers. Although it may not be the easiest way i think its more practical than trying to use a strainer as a makeshift satillite. I'm just trying to picture myself sitting down in a wi-fi hotspot taking out that thing as everyone else stares.

You could incorporate the strainer into a cap so it would be less noticeable, the size of the hat would determine the size of the reflector.
