php Posted April 24, 2007 CID Share Posted April 24, 2007 Does anyone know of a good video converting program (Vista x64 compatible)? I need to convert avi files to mov and/or mpeg I am willing to pay for a program, I'm getting sick of trying out free stuff and I haven't been able to find a decent program thus far. Voltageman Posted April 25, 2007 CID Share Posted April 25, 2007 http://virtualdub.sourceforge.net/ I believe the 1.7.1 for 64 bit Windows works with Vista x64... It's free too..

Voltageman Posted April 25, 2007 CID Share Posted April 25, 2007 i use this program converting my halo 2 videos i make and it works great. http://buildyourpc.org/modules.php?name=Video_Stream&page=watch&id=20 I think that is compressed using Vdub..It was like 3 gigs when i started. Some quality loss from the 3 gig version, but it came out pretty good. Didn't edit, just compressed/converted it.
solidsnake Posted April 25, 2007 CID Share Posted April 25, 2007 thats correct. virtual dub is really really great video editor. you can search for codecs online for the type of conversion/creation you want to.
